Converting an Old Trials Bike into an Electric Motorbike

The electric motorbike project took about 18 months to complete as we started out with an old Gilera trials bike in bits. So, there were three aspects to creating an electric motorbike from an old petrol fuelled motorbike: restoring the original bike; converting the bike to electric, and getting it road-legal.
